DAKEN Fire Barrier Composite Sheet-DFB

DAKEN Fire Barrier Composite Sheet is a high-performance, lightweight intumescent composite sheet and rigid firestop panel engineered for large opening firestopping and blank opening fire seals. This advanced pre-formed firestop sheet features a multi-layer composite design: a 0.5mm galvanized steel plate backing bonded to a high-expansion intumescent material, reinforced with internal wire mesh, and faced with a protective aluminum foil layer.

With a nominal thickness of only 7.8 mm, the sheet rapidly expands up to eight times its original thickness when exposed to high temperatures, creating an effective fire and smoke barrier that seals openings and prevents fire spread through walls and floors.

The system has been independently tested as a UL 1479 firestop system and provides up to 3 hours of fire resistance for cable tray penetrations, mixed service penetrations, and large opening firestop systems. It is widely used in MCC rooms, substations, data centers, oil & gas facilities, offshore platforms, and other applications requiring reliable passive fire protection and industrial firestop systems.
